Tonight I reached a milestone in my writing career—if that's what we're calling it—when I finished penning my 25th novel. This is something I've always thought could happen, but actually being here, looking back on hundreds of thousands of words, of all those stories I've slaved over... It feels pretty good.

I believe true happiness lies in finding something you love, and holding onto it for as long as you possibly can. I already know what I love, and I'm not about to stop any time soon. Here's to #26, which I'll be starting on November 1 for NaNoWriMo. Cheers.
