I finished penning my latest novel, AFTER the FALL, Sunday evening. Finishing a novel is a somewhat devastating feeling, as you are left with all of these fabricated emotions that you're somehow forced to reconcile. I have a long-standing tradition of immediately reading through a novel after I've written the last page. With the story fresh in my mind, I'm able to search out any inconsistencies and make any necessary changes. Of course, this is easier done when you've got a free schedule, which I do not at this point in time. I did, however, make it through the first few chapters. There's more action in this novel than I'm used to writing, and it contains probably the best first two chapters I've ever written. Part of me wants to clean it up and see if my publisher would like to take a look at it, and part of me is too tired to consider such a possibility right now. I think I'll give myself a break while I wait for Legends to print, and then take another pass at it.

I'd like to say thank you for the numerous compliments I've received lately from individuals who've read Legacy. I believe it is a writer's true joy to be able to share her imaginary world with others, and I couldn't be more grateful that you are reading. I had a lot of fun writing Legends, and I hope you're able to enjoy it just as thoroughly.
